New reading materials will be available to students in time for the opening of Guimaras State College for senior high school next year. This aims to make the youth aware of the rich local history of the provinces of Guimaras and Iloilo, which are also the hometowns of the prominent Lopez clan (ABS-CBN News, 2015).
