ACTIVITY ONE: MANGROVE TRIP AND CITY WALK
very long 1km walk to mangroves. It was so hot and tiring, really wondered how the locals could endure this condition
moments before the diaster, literally want to cry to not go in the mangrove because of the weather and muddy conditons
finally, in the mangrove, the farmer and tour guide made the planting process look so easy but when it was our turn it was so much hardship
scouted a cafe that sells Vietnam egg coffee and yummy food. The stall owner was so friendly.

1) Action: In Vietnam, the people are very modest and humble. They will always treat others with respect and usually avoid confrontations. For example, when I was buying coffee at the local market I complimented a lady for being so nice for giving us a discount and that she looked very pretty. She was very happy to hear that and gave me a lot of free sweets.
2) Words: People will usually show a smiling or neutral expression as they avoid showing faces to people as it seems rude in public. Their words are always nice. For example, when I was at the local market, the locals tried to make small talk with me by asking where I am from or how old I am. In general, they were very sweet and I had a lot of fun in the conversations.
3) food culture: Vietnam has a wide variety of food such as spring rolls, Pho, and egg coffee. It reflects heavily on their culture.

1) Community: Vietnam is a very community-based place. They will usually think of the well-being of others such as family and friends.
2) Hospitality: Vietnam people are great hosts. They will always try their best to make their guests comfortable and feel welcome, through simple actions such as putting a smile on their faces or making small talk.
3) Hardworking: Vietnam are very hard worker. They will work or study very hard to achieve good accomplishments.
