Tree Purchasing and Distribution Program                     👉

Our Tree Purchasing and Distribution program involves several phases: 

• Online Outreach Survey and Registration Form: First, we conducted an online registration form that allows the community to sign up to receive trees, planting supplies, and to provide insights on the types of trees and plants each family would like to grow and care for. 

• Build Connection through Phone Calls: Secondly, we contacted each family (by phone, email, and texting) through information provided from the registration form to establish a connection and to schedule for them to pick up their requested trees and supplies. 

• Coordinate with Tree Providers: Thirdly, we scoped out and communicated with local nurseries and businesses that sell these trees and plants a day or two in advance to ensure availability for pick-up. 

• Purchase and Distribute: In the fourth phase, we purchase and distribute trees and supplies to individual families. This entails contacting each family individually to schedule pick-up dates, and we meet up with them at pick-up locations where we help load up the trees in their vehicles and make meaningful connections with each family. We also distribute trees and plants at community outreach events, where we also provide on-site educational resources and training workshops to the community.
