Avery had a dream since kindergarten to live and work in Paris, France. Her connections with positive, supportive people helped her make this dream come true.

Wyatt is a past participant, high school Clan Family Leader, and Living Library presenter at Grow Boys. He's here to talk to you about how overcoming challenges is easier when you can make strong, meaningful connections with supportive people; what he calls finding your "community."

Wyatt was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes in ninth grade. He didn't know how to react to that, and then his lifelong love of cycling provided him the unexpected answer. Wyatt found his community in the bike racing world and has never looked back! (12:02)

What Makes A Great Community Member?

Sustainable Food Builds Community

We can give kids some locally grown carrots, but if we teach them why sustainable food practices are important, we’ll be supplying them with a lifetime of healthy choices that will benefit the planet. Lessons like the importance of healthy eating and sustainable practices aren’t easy concepts to impart to kids, but when we make learning hands-on and fun, it’s much more relatable! (5:40)
