About Me: Hey I am Amiya Simms currently enrolled in CCBC Dundalk with the major of General Studies. After Community College I will be transferring to a Four Year College to study Social Work. I am born and raised from Baltimore City. I come from a single parent household, raised by my Dad, and I am the oldest of Five children. Outside of College some of my favorite things to do is journaling while listening to music, drawing, cooking, and playing basketball. I would be what you could call a soft-spoken leader. Meaning I have a lot of knowledge packed up inside of me but, I only let it out when I get comfortable.
Purpose:Throughout the spring semester I will be using this as a platform to show how I express myself through my work/assignments. So come learn and grow with me. As We all learn and grow together watch my creative take it's own course. I named my website "GrowingWithAmiya" because in order to have real growth you might just have to be challenged. I am also one that loves to come back and look at work I did in the past to see how much I've grown and learn since.
