I learned a lot doing this project. I learned how to bounce ideas off of one another, and how to divide work to be most efficient. I learned how to use tools in the lab that I have never used before. I also learned that picking materials to use is a trial and error process.

I learned how to program a DC motor using an Arduino and a H bridge. The H bridge is a type of electronic circuit that controls the motor by changing the voltage by using a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal. Using PWM, we can control the average voltage sent to the motor. The H bridge allows us to change the direction of the motor by simply switching the power and ground signals.

I learned that some ideas that work in your head aren't as reliable in practice, but with some experimenting and tinkering, I could find solutions to different problems we faced. I also learned technical skills including using an h-bridge driver with an Arduino to control a DC motor

I learned that in order to make an effective final product it is very important to break down all components and test them throughly. I also learned that often times ideas need to be changed over time and that adaption is key to working through problems. I also learned how to use a laser cutter which is both cool and easy to use.
