Awards

Frédéric Chassot received the Thürler-Reeb scholarship for the excellence of his master thesis, entitled "an experimental and computational study on the effects of the ferroelectric transition in the electronic structure of SnTe".

This prize of 3000 CHF is awarded by the Faculty of Science for excellent scientific work (Master, PhD thesis or publication), whose author is from or strongly linked to the Canton of Fribourg.

During his participation in the New Generation in Strongly Correlated Electron System (NGSCES), Frédéric Chassot was awarded the prize for the best Poster. His work was about "the evolution of the low-energy electronic structure of SnTe through its ferroelectric phase transition"

During his participation in the Electron Spectroscopy Days 2021, Geoffroy Kremer was awarded the prize for the best speech for his presentation entitled "Out of equilibrium dynamics of potassium doped black phosphorus studied by angle- and time- resolved photoemission"., see more on the website.
