Activity Intent:

Students work independently to create a video demonstrating their evaluation of cultural, diversity, and global awareness implications for online learning. The video will showcase key practices that should be implemented in an online learning environment.

Directions:

Using the rubric as your guide, individually create an informational video (i.e. public service announcement) utilizing YouTube to showcase best practices you have evaluated and determined to be valuable on how to address cultural, diversity, and global awareness in an online learning environment. Share your video to at least two social media outlets to the general public. These social media outlets can include the following: YouTube-open channel, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, or Instagram. Additionally, share your video with the class in the discussion board on Padlet for feedback from your peers and Instructor, providing your own feedback to at least one other posting.
