Electrical Engineering
Electrical engineering specializes in the design and applications of harnessing electricity by implementing them in electronics, electrical systems, and hardware that power today's world. It requires a strong foundation in mathematics and an understanding of physics. With these skills, electrical engineers test and supervise a wide spectrum of equipment manufacturing like power plants, radio stations, generators, navigation systems, and more. Additionally, they focus on the implementation of analog and digital components to create electronic circuits that allow electricity to flow to designated areas and components.
Computer Engineering
Computer engineering consists of combining of the computer science and electrical engineering disciplines. This type of engineering can encompass certain areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, operating systems, computer networks and more. Since this is a combination of two different fields you would have to have a strong understanding of coding and the skills behind electrical engineering. Computer engineers can be involved also in the creation of micro computers, super computers, personal computers and more. Because they work in various field including healthcare and consumer goods they benefit both the consumer and companies.
