223 Midterm Assessment (Fall 2017)
What is your team #? 15
Please describe any revisions you need to make to any of your project goals. Make sure you list: 1) the original goal, 2) the proposed revision and 3) why you would like to change it. I reserve the right to reject changes if the intention is to make the project easier for you because of poor planning or execution to date. Please make sure you justify the change.
1. Have project finished by early submission
2. Have the project in by early submission AND have done something to help our new organization get going
3. We propose this revised goal because our new organization is brand new and has some improvements it needs to make on their website and we think it would be good to help them with that if they allow and help them get the word out about their non-profit
What percentage of your PRIMARY goal to you have completed? (money not turned in doesn't count).
80% we still need to work on our website (portfolio)
Describe your SECONDARY goals and explain how you're progressing with them. Use concrete terms and percentages, when applicable. For the secondary goals, please just focus on the REVISED goal if applicable
1 Make a difference in our organization, work as a team, create friendships, help some animals
2. We have mostly done all these except help out animals directly. Our organization is difficult to contact and has short hours they are open. We are working on finding a way to help them out
3. Based on our revised goal, we need to work on making a lasting difference at this organization by either volunteering or help them improve their business in some way
Percentage of AGENDAS submitted on time, in full and correctly (look at the thoroughness of posts as well as whether or not they're following directions - your team might need to revisit the directions in Forums to be sure).
90% we always turn them in on time but we were told to use complete sentences, but we xed that.
Percentage of MINUTES submitted on time, in full and correctly (look at the thoroughness of posts as well as whether or not they're following directions - your team might need to revisit the directions in Forums to be sure).
100%
Percentage of meetings that are fully attended (excused absences are still absences)
80% we have had a few sicknesses, and emergencies.

On a scale of 1-5 (1 meaning “not at all” and 5 meaning “definitely”) do you feel your team meetings are productive:
5
What will you as a team do to make your meetings more productive?
An element of fun and energy could make our meetings more productive. Everyone is always
so tired from the day, we need to have more enthusiasm.
How would you grade your group’s progress to date: (Effort is commendable, but focus on what you've actually accomplished) *
B
Provide a rationale for this grade by citing specific team accomplishments or problems:
We are doing well in terms of our money goal, but still have a ways to go. I gave us this grade because we have had a few hiccups with getting along with one another. We also had to change organizations half way through so that set us back a bit. I also gave us a B because we need to work more on our website.
What changes will you make to your team’s plan / habits / timeline based on this assessment? How are you going to revise what you’re doing to to help you achieve your goals?
These last few weeks are crunch time for us if we want early submission. We need to start focusing on reaching our money goal and overall team goal, rather than arguing or stressing. We also need to be super on top of our duties at group meetings so we can start checking things off our list of things to do.
Is there anything else you'd like me to know about your team, member involvement, and/or your progress?
We are having issues contacting our organization, Pet Central Helps, and doing volunteer work for them in any way. They are hard to get a hold of and we really need those volunteer hours and would like to do more for them than just raise money. What would you suggest we do to meet the remainder of our money goal as well as helping them out?
