FamilySmart Resources
For over 20 years, FamilySmart has been working in B.C. to enhance the quality and experiences of services, support and information families receive when seeking help for their child, youth or young adult with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
Mental health is always an important issue and families often feel isolated and unsure of where to turn. At FamilySmart we offer parent peer support to families who have a child struggling with their mental health. No diagnosis is required, there are no waiting lists and our services are free. Parents can simply self refer themselves to us through email. In addition to providing one on one support we also host a monthly educational series where parents come together and learn and connect on a particular mental health topic.
