Fundraising

Fundraising is done on an ongoing basis to help support the Grenfell community. 

We have been able to fund many things to help support staff and students through our previous fundraisers, which included Hot lunches, Walk-a-thons, and various other campaigns.

Here are some items that were funded by the PAC in 2022-23:

• Student Activity Fees

• Saleema Noon Body Science Parent Workshop

• New library books 

• Musical Instruments

• Laptop Charge Cart

• Student Laptops

• Gr. 7 camp bus 

• Binoculars for outdoor education

• Pickleball paddles

• Sports jerseys

• Windermere Gr. 12 Scholarship from Grenfell PAC

Here are some items from the staff wish list that were funded by the PAC in 2021-22:

• Windermere Gr. 12 Scholarship from Grenfell PAC

• Technology - Classroom laptops, chargers, cables and cords

• PE Equipment for the gym - badminton racquets, playground balls, volleyballs, soccer balls, etc.

• Classroom Sports equipment - various sports equipment for classroom use

• Drum-making project - Indigenous education support

• Supplies for ADST projects for intermediate students

• Resources to enhance musical education

Here are some items from the staff wish list that were funded by the PAC in 2020-21:

• Umbrellas for staff (shared cost with Grenfell)

• Laptop cart

• Student activity fees

• RazKids, A-Z Reading, Science News Post, and Building Bridges subscriptions

• Rolling whiteboard for the library

• Projectors

• iPads

• $500 each to the SSA, Primary, Intermediate, and Tech wish lists 

• Playground sports equipment, including badminton rackets and outdoor soccer balls

• Library books

• Sheet music/accompaniment tracks 

• Class set of erasable surfaces and pens

• Garden Chess Set 

• Painted chessboard on playground

• 8 Bluetooth Speakers 

• 13 Ipads for teachers/French/resource,  carrying tub and Ipad charger/adaptors 

• Book Creator app 

• PE Supplies:  Badminton rackets,  Outdoor Soccer Balls , Ultimate Disks, Basketball Mesh, Timer, Soccer balls, Ping Pong balls
