As you may know, "Extreme Philately" is when a stamp collector takes pictures of a stamp on location with the subject the stamp illustrates. The Scolieri ACERS have tried this a few times. It makes for some fun pictures and makes visiting places a little more interesting.

The train in our picture is known as the "Jamaica" train. For a period of time, it was known as "The Montauk." The Montauk was part of the Long Island Railroad and was a business class train. President Kennedy and New York Governer Rockefeller were once passengers on "The Montauk."
The Montauk train was built in 1912 and retired in 1968.
