You found a book in the catalog, now what?
Use the CALL NUMBER to find it! It's not always a number. The first line gets you to the right section. Then you get to the sublocation with the information after that: go in alphabetical or numeric order.
UNDERSTANDING CALL NUMBERS IN THE GREGORI LIBRARY:
The CALL # tells you the type of book and where to find it. Look for corresponding library signs to find the correct section.
FIC = Fiction (alphabetical by author last name)
FIC = Fiction (alphabetical by author last name)
000.00 - 999.99 = Non Fiction (numerical order by subject - Dewey Decimal System, follow the black & white signs)
