In February of 2024, I had the amazing privilege of attending the National Character and Leadership Symposium at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I wanted to go to further expand my global mindset and what better way than to put myself in an environment where everything was unfamiliar. For this program, you had to apply, and if it wasn't for Kayla Lemmon, I wouldn't have even applied because she convinced me to shoot my shot. Shoot my shot I did and I got accpeted. Below are my takeaways from that amazing trip.
