I am a Christian. I am focused, not just on work and school but on my family, friends, and faith. I am driven and a motivated individual, maybe too much so, to achieve success to make the world a better place. I am investing in individuals so that they know they matter. I am honest and not afraid to say it as it is. I can be funny, let loose sometimes, and despite what others may say about me love to sit down sometimes and watch a movie.
To invest in individuals so that they know they matter.
I discovered what my why was at Chick-fil-A. Click here to find out more.
Throughout my time as a student, I want to become a better servant to God and give back to my community, family, and all the others who have invested in me. I want to build a better future and give opportunities to individuals so that they may succeed the same way I did. I want my life's mission to be able to lift other people up to reach their full potential.
This mission isn't a short race, rather it's a lifetime endeavor that will evolve and grow over time. While there is still so much more room to grow, I am proud of the progress that I have made and I am excited to continue to contribute to the many organizations that I am a part of. I want to find more ways to contribute by serving my community in whatever capacity is needed to make the world a better place.
Currently, I am close to graduating this May in 2024 with a degree in Human Resources and Business Management. Throughout my college career, I have challenged myself to go beyond my comfort zone and take on challenges that will help me benefit others. I have found that while doing so, I often get so much more back than I give. I have and will continually make mistakes and slip up, but from each mistake, I learn and continue to grow. Failure is necessary for growth, and I am proud to say that I have failed a lot in my college career. I look forward to continuing to fail and grow more as I leave this chapter in my life and start the next.
After college, I want to continue to uplift and empower others to reach their full potential. I want to become a leader, which doesn't necessarily mean having titles or making a certain amount of money. Leaders inspire others to do the right thing, regardless if it is advantageous for them or not. All of these things won't happen all at once. They will take years to work towards. What's most important is to focus on the little wins that will take place each day, and for each day to strive to do a little better. That's the direction I strive to go towards.
