Community Panel Discussions

On March 31st, 2022, The Green Samaritan Group held its first event ever! It was a panel discussion on Climate Change and possible solutions.
The discussion was hosted by the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas. It was a four person panel with people from diverse backgrounds and the discussion was moderated by Victoria Soriano

"Hunger isn't a privilege. Food shouldn't be either" that's our theme for this evening's discussion. In Clark County, it is reported that 1 in 6 families facing food insecurity. We know that number is not accurate. It doesn't account for the homeless, people living in cars, and students who haven't returned to schools and offered no forwarding address. If we look closer at the issue, the actual number might be 1 in 4 maybe even 1 in 3.
