Alongside their video discussing strategies to represent climate change within films, NRDC and SEA created the "Climate On Screen" website to bring climate storytelling resources together. This database includes production materials, grants, fellowships, agencies, and research for an environmentally-driven filmmaker to access, all in one place.
Climate change is the story of our time, and it’s being told right now, in small moments and blockbuster events. ClimateOnScreen.org offers tools and resources, such as NRDC’s Rewrite the Future initiative, to help you tell a great story.

A collaboration between the Quebec Film and Television Council, Conseil québécois des événements écoresponsables (CQEER), and Québecor, this sustainable production guide gives detailed guidelines and practices to follow that have become industry standard throughout Quebec. While this is tailored toward Canadian productions, its green filmmaking measures and checklists can be utilized by filmmakers anywhere and serve as a helpful outline for developing your personal green action plan!
The aim of this guide is to facilitate the adoption of sustainable actions during audiovisual productions. Any production, no matter what size or type, can benefit from the actions recommended and the references provided to reduce its impact on the environment.
