Production Environmental Activity Checklist
for Young Filmmakers
As of September 15, 2026, PEACHy 2.0 has been released to align with industry practices and the PEACH 2.0 released by Sustainable Entertainment Alliance on September 1, 2026. The first version of PEACHy, released in 2021, has been retired by GFSA and EMA. It is still available for download, reference, and use by students, though no longer eligible for seal recognition. GFSA strongly encourages utilizing PEACHy 2.0 and its orientation materials.
PEACHy is a version of Sustainable Entertainment Alliance's industry-standard, best practices Production Envrionmental Actions Checklist (PEACH) that has been adapted for student productions. Utilizing this worksheet and other resources on the Green Production Guide website will facilitate producing sustainably. PEACHy is also used to apply for EMA Green Seal Recognition.

The top 10 film programs with the highest number of Green Seals earned are all GFSA chapters!
Students have been eligible to earn a Green Seal since 2021. AFI, one of GFSA's first chapters, was also the first to utilize the PEACHy and earn Green Seals. They've racked up 77 in five years, the most of any program!!
Some of our chapters have made the PEACHy mandatory on student productions. This was most recently done by Humber Polytechnic; they went from accounting for less than 1% of all Green Seals earned in 2024, to 5% in 2025! They have the most Green Seals of any new GFSA chapter with 10!
The amount of Greens Seals earned in 2024 was more than doubled in 2025—with 85% of those won by GFSA chapters! Let's keep the trend going in 2026!
