Help Choosing Plants

Are you new native-plant gardening?  Or are you looking for something for a specific site in your yard?  Go to the Native Plant Trust Garden Plant Finder for help choosing what works in our area.

You can sort by plant size, time of bloom, and color of flowers;  or, choose sun exposure (sun, part sun, shade) or moisture level (dry, medium, wet).  Choose area you are creating - meadow, rain garden, rock garden...then enter your criteria to see a list of plants that work well given your chosen parameters.  

Hint:  Some category choices, like 'meadow' and 'rain garden', tend to over-limit the choices.  If only one plant choice is returned for your search,  go back and uncheck a few of those selection boxes.
