Need help with GrassLens? Email horbohapps@gmail.com and include your iPhone or iPad model, your iOS version and, if it helps, the photo you were identifying. We usually reply within two business days. You can also write to us from inside the app: open Settings and tap Contact support.
Fill the frame with one plant in good daylight, keep it sharp, and include the parts that matter: the seedhead or flower if there is one, a leaf blade where it meets the stem, and the base of the plant. Crop tightly before you send. If the result says which parts were missing, take that photo and try again. Some plants can only be told apart at a later growth stage, so waiting a week or two can help.
Open the result and tap Not the right plant? Suggest another. You can pick one of the alternatives or ask for a re-check with a better photo. Your correction is saved with the item in your Collection. If you keep getting an answer that is clearly wrong, send us the photo and we will look into it.
Every install includes a few free identifications. Unlimited use comes with a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, sold through the App Store. If you bought a plan and the app still shows the free counter, open Settings and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID. To cancel a subscription, open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Everything you create lives on your device. Swipe an item in your Collection to delete it, or uninstall the app to remove all of it. We keep no copies of your photos on servers, so there is nothing else to request.
GrassLens runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. Identification needs an internet connection; browsing your Collection works offline.
