🎯 Practice/Warm-Up: 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Season #1: June 4 – July 9, 2026
Season #2: July 16 – August 20, 2026

The Grant Ranch Cornhole League is a resident-led program of Grant Ranch Connections & Social Club, Inc. The league serves the Grant Ranch community and operates independently of the Grant Ranch Master Homeowners Association, Inc. unless expressly stated otherwise. 

Get ready for another fun summer of cornhole with neighbors! Whether you’re competitive or just in it for the laughs, everyone is welcome.

🗓 Schedule
• Thursday nights at the Grant Ranch Village Center
• Two 6-week seasons planned
• Up to 3 seasons possible based on interest
• Approximately 5 games per team each night
• If time remains, teams are welcome to continue casual play afterward

🎯 League Levels
• Beginner League(24 ft apart boards)
• Intermediate / Advanced League(27 ft apart boards)

🎯 What to Expect
• Friendly, social atmosphere with optional competitive play
• Weekly progressive pot airmail competition
• Music, small prizes & community vibes
• You may bring your own food and drinks, including alcohol
• No glass containers allowed at the Village Center
• End-of-season BBQ & open play instead of tournament this season

👥 Teams
• 2–6 players per team
• At least one Grant Ranch resident per team
• The resident must participate in at least half of league nights
• Rotating players & substitutes welcome

🎒 Equipment
Bring your own bags or use ours — we’ve got extras!

Potential league improvements being researched:
• Cornhole scoring stands with cup holders
• Additional lighting for evening play
• Pitch pads/ground mats for wet conditions
• Two additional lanes of cornhole boards, bringing the league to a total of 8 lanes

Advanced / Intermediate Division
🥇 1st Place — $80
🥈 2nd Place — $60
🥉 3rd Place — $30

Beginner Division
🥇 1st Place — $60
🥈 2nd Place — $30
🥉 3rd Place — $20

🏆 Best Team Shirts Award — $25

No trophies just bragging rights 

👕 Team Shirts Encouraged
Team shirts are optional but highly encouraged!

They add fun, personality, and team spirit — plus they help organizers quickly identify teams during league play and scheduling.

🎯 Weekly Progressive Pot Airmail Competition

We’ll also be running a weekly optional airmail competition with a progressive jackpot pot!

Typical format:
• Buy raffle tickets for a chance to shoot
• Selected shooters get 4 bags each
• Successful airmails win part of the pot
• Missed shots roll over into the next week’s jackpot
• Final week may become a “go until it’s gone” format

💲 Cost
Estimated $50–$75 per team per 6-week season.

Jim and I are currently pricing out final equipment purchases and league improvements before confirming the final amount.

🤝 League Expectations
This is a community league and everyone helps make it run smoothly.

Teams will help with:
• Setup or takedown during the season
• End-of-night cleanup
• Returning chairs/tables/equipment to original locations
• Helping keep the pavilion area clean

🤝 Cleanup & Respect for the Space

The Village Center has been incredibly supportive of the league, and we want to make sure we leave the area in great condition each week.

Please remember:
• Everything that gets moved needs to go back where it belongs
• Chairs and tables should be returned to their original locations
• Trash should be cleaned up and taken to the dumpster if assigned
• Cornhole equipment, lights, bags, and supplies should be properly put away
• Food and drink areas should be left clean for the next users

Our goal is to leave the pavilion and surrounding area looking like we were never there. Everyone helping for just a few minutes at the end of the night makes a huge difference and helps ensure we can continue using the space for future seasons.

🏕️ Tented Pavilion & Gathering Space 

A huge thank you to Deb Rodarte at the Village Center for blocking out the tented pavilion for the league on Thursday nights. The pavilion is normally a rentable space at the Village Center, and having it reserved for league use gives us a great home base for the season. It provides covered seating, access to the grill area, tables for food and drinks, and a comfortable place for players and neighbors to gather, eat, relax, and socialize between games — especially helpful during hot weather or unexpected rain.
