🏆 Grant Ranch Cornhole League – Season Details & Registration Now Open! 🏆

We’re excited to officially kick off the Grant Ranch Cornhole League for Summer 2026!

🎯 Season #1
📅 June 4 – July 9

🎯 Season #2
📅 July 16 – August 20

Both seasons will run for 6 weeks on Thursday nights at the Village Center pavilion area.

⏰ Weekly Schedule
• Setup: 5:15 PM – 5:30 PM
• Practice/Warm-Up: 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• League Play: 6:00 PM – 7:45 PM
• Cleanup: 7:45 PM – 8:00 PM

Each team will typically play approximately 5 games per night. If time remains afterward, players are welcome to continue playing casually against other teams and neighbors.

🌭 End-of-Season BBQ & Open Play
📅 Thursday, August 27

Instead of an end-of-season tournament this year, we’ll wrap up the summer with a community BBQ, open cornhole play, and time to hang out with neighbors.

🏅 League Levels
We will have two divisions:
• Beginner League
• Intermediate / Advanced League

🏠 Team Requirement
Each team must have at least one Grant Ranch resident, and that resident must participate in at least half of the league nights.

💰 Prize Fund (Same as Last Season)

Advanced / Intermediate Division
🥇 1st Place — $80
🥈 2nd Place — $60
🥉 3rd Place — $30

Beginner Division
🥇 1st Place — $60
🥈 2nd Place — $30
🥉 3rd Place — $20

🏆 Best Team Shirts Award — $25

🎯 Weekly Progressive Pot Airmail Competition

We’ll also be running a weekly optional airmail competition with a progressive jackpot pot!

Typical format:
• Buy raffle tickets each week for a chance to shoot
• Selected shooters get 4 bags each
• Each successful airmail wins part of the pot
• Missed shots roll over into the following week’s jackpot
• Final week may become a “go until it’s gone” format

More details and rules will be shared before league play begins.

💵 League Registration Cost

League registration is expected to be approximately $50–$75 per team for each 6-week season.

Jim and I are currently pricing out equipment and league improvement purchases for this season before finalizing the exact registration amount.

Potential purchases being researched include:
• Cornhole scoring stands with cup holders
• Additional lighting for evening play
• Pitch pads/ground mats for wet conditions
• Additional league equipment and supplies
• Two additional lanes of cornhole boards, bringing the league to a total of 8 lanes

We will send out the final registration price as soon as those costs are finalized.

Team shirts are completely optional, but highly encouraged!

They help add fun, team spirit, and personality to the league — plus they also help organizers quickly identify teams during league play and scheduling.

🤝 League Expectations

This is a community league and everyone helps make it run smoothly.

Each team will be asked to help with:
• Setup or takedown during the season
• End-of-night cleanup
• Returning chairs/tables/equipment to original locations
• Helping keep the pavilion area clean

We need to be cleaned up and out by approximately 8:00 PM each week.

Community Focus / “Ringer” Discussion

Please help us keep the league community-focused by avoiding bringing in highly competitive “ringer” players from outside the Grant Ranch community primarily just to win games or prizes. The goal is to build connections with neighbors first, with friendly competition second.

Residency Participation Requirement Discussion

Proposed guideline:

• If a team includes non-resident players, the Grant Ranch resident on the team should participate in at least ___ of the 6 league nights to help keep the league centered around community involvement.
