Located in the West Springs community in SouthWest Calgary, the Calgary French & International school is an immersive French language learning environment, and our venue for the day.

No pets please, service animals exempt.

This is a wheelchair-accessible space with an elevator and wheelchair-accessible bathrooms.

Our venue has a generous parking lot, and street parking is also available.

Please keep the spaces closest to the door available for Royalty & those with accessibility considerations.

Field use

We will have a few hours in hopefully the warmest part of the day to use the field space for martial classes or activities/ tournaments, along with classes that are just better done outside.

Field use is scheduled weather-permitting, please dress according to the weather, and bring your own camping/folding chair and water bottle as needed.

We have a jam-packed class and activity schedule planned for you, so we highly recommend that you bring a bagged lunch.

Unfortunately there are no kitchen facilities to store or prepare your meal.

Royal Room

We have a dedicated room for our King, Queen, Heirs, Barons & Baroness' and any visiting Royals to relax or conduct business.

This room is equipped with tables/desks and chairs for scribal needs or meetings.

This room should be considered private unless invited by Avacal's Royals.

Alcohol & smoking

Grand TUA is a dry event. There won't be a bar available on-site. Please don't bring alcohol into our venue.

Our venue is also completely smoke-free. This includes e-cigs, vapes, etc. If you need to smoke, please leave the property. There are members of our community who are highly allergic to smoke; please respect this.
