This is tentative, looking for someone to run it.
If you're not ready yet to take on the potential mantle of Kingdom Champion, there's still a chance to show off your work at Grand TUA!
You can opt to be judged or simply put your work on display.
Judged work will require a single page of documentation covering the 5W's, and you will be assigned a brief time-slot for judging.
Display-only entries will not require documentation, but please put your name on your display.
The highest-scoring judged single-entry will win a prize!

Beadwork, costuming, millinery, embroidery - if you have a finished or work-in-progress stitching project you'd like to show off, here's your opportunity! All skill levels are encouraged!
This is a non-competitive showcase, but everyone who participates will receive a small gift to appreciate your participation.
Drop off your projects in the A&S Tourney room at the beginning of the day, and pick them up (along with your token of appreciation) before court.

The path to peerage is long and winding. The journey of each associate is unique, but we share many goals (the pursuit of excellence, leadership skills, chivalry, and personal growth) and many struggles (plateaus, mindset, burnout, conflict).
We can learn many lessons from one another, celebrate one another, and find fellowship in those shared goals!
To that end, all associates and students of any peerage path (or all interested in pursuing one!) are invited to a social meet-and-greet at Grand TUA to develop fellowship between our paths.
Drop in, meet your fellow associates, swap training and research tips, and seek friendship and support.

Awaiting information from the Largesse Coordinator for the new Heirs to the Griffin Thrones after February 14-15, 2027 Winter Crown.
Largesse is the art of gift-giving, and for this tournament, the Royal Largesse Coordinator, ____ is looking for your gifts! Bring 6 of the same item, and let them stand on display for the entire day to show off your work to all that attend. At the end of the day, every artisan who donated 6 items of largesse are thanked by taking one item from the donation group for themselves.

To enhance the atmosphere of our space, we invite all guests to bring their heraldic displays to show off in the main room where court is.
Please bring your own painter's tape to non-destructively hang your banners. Any size of heraldic display is welcome! Freestanding banner stands are also welcome.
Please remember to take your banners down at the end of the event!
Outdoor classes
Outdoor classes
We have a great field to work with at this event, so we are offering a few classes that are just better outdoors. These classes are weather-dependent, and we encourage participants to wear/bring suitable clothing for mild Spring weather.
Please bring your own camp/folding chair & water bottle for these classes.
If these classes are cancelled due to weather, please take the opportunity to visit our merchants, check out the Championship entries, or head to gate to see which classes may still have room.

The bid for this event is going in a year before the event, however there is a space allocated for a small vigil should a candidate for a peerage be brought forth and wish to host their vigil at Grand TUA 2027.
There will not be a kitchen available for food/beverage service.

Court
Court
Courts are a regular feature of SCA events and a unique feature of the society.
A court is an official and formal gathering of the populace which is presided over by ceremonial heads (The Crown or Their representatives), such as a King and Queen or Baron and Baroness.
This is where you'll see giving of awards, official announcements, people taking their place behind the thrones, gifts being exchanged, and/or presentations delivered.
Attending court is optional for all guests, but highly encouraged. Reach out to the Montengarde Chatelaine if this is your first SCA event and you want some advice about attending Court.
There will be a morning court, which will introduce those competing to be kingdom champions (amoung other business at the discretion of the King & Queen) and a closing court at the end of the day (announcing winners of competitions and tournaments along with other business).
