Prayer for April

Dear God, surround us with your love in this month. Your Word makes us understand that those you love, you work out everything for their good, and nothing can separate us from your love.

So in this month, which reminds us of the love you demonstrated - because while we were yet sinners you died for us so that as we receive and believe in you we can become your sons and be lavishly loved by you, let us experience this love beyond heights we can comprehend - as it was recorded by Apostle Paul in Ephesians - and may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love his. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.

Father, in this month, wherever we have fallen short, let your love reach us from the depth of the miry clay and set our feet on a solid rock. Let us declare the praises of him who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light. Let us say at the top of our lungs this is the doing of the Lord and it marvelous in our sight. In mighty name of Jesus we have prayed with thanksgiving, Amen!
