The GRAIN-VOC project investigates how wheat grains respond to fungal infections during storage through the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). 

By combining plant biology, microbiology, and isotope-based analytical chemistry, the project develops innovative approaches for early detection of grain contamination.
