What impressions does this creature give you? (Does it look passive / aggressive / predator / herbivore etc.)
Passive and skittish nectarivore.
i really like him! he looks like a potential friend. he could go either way, but i see him more as a cute fellow
Aggressive swarm enemy similar to bloatfly from Fallout 4. Unless that thing out of its mouth is a proboscis in which case I say herbivore thats skittish
This creature seems passive but can be really aggressive if provoked. It seems like it could be a predator but also some that would eat honey and sap.
Probably something very fast and nimble that can work its way through a crowded environment much faster than the player could. Big eyes + fat body + small limbs all the butterfly stuff makes me assume that it wouldn't be particularly aggressive, probably a bit curious? In a combat encounter sense it seems like it could do all sorts of acrobatic moves, possibly elongate the tongue to attack, possibly use the tail to hang on branches, basically a fight involving trying to stay out of the player's reach and trying to avoid them with its movement
This looks to be a volant insectoid like creature, possessing 3 pairs of wings, a prehensile tail, cranial antennae, bulbous eyes, and a forked tongue (possibly for smelling?). While most would assume probably a pollinator of some form of autotroph of its environment, one can also see it as a likely parasite for much larger creature that it frequents. It can also might not even be either of those, and likely a smaller predator that uses it tongue/proboscis to sniff out prey like certain reptiles via thermal energy. The patterns on its wings seem to indicate a varied pattern, thus very colorful to attract mates, scare rivals, lure prey, or a mix of both or all.
This gives me several vibes. The one that jumps out the most is it's a butterfly like animal. Peaceful, and flies from flower to flower. The other idea could be they travel in swarms, and use their tongue to inflict damage onto prey. While alone, they would look like cute little creatures, running into a group of thousands would be a fast end.
herbivore (like hummingbird)
It looks like an arboreal, nocturnal, insectivore with gliding capabilities and a prehensile tail. It seems like it would be fairly passive and possibly even skittish around larger organisms.
This creature looks like a harmless pollinator
this creature looks like it would be predated on by the previous creature, it appears like a pollinator therefor making it passive
Seem completely passive. Likely serves a similar function to bee and butterflies. The tail is a bit odd though.
A small nectar-feeding butterfly like creature that is peaceful. It looks like it would prey for larger predators
Ariel Predator with limited intelligence
Does not seem hostile, likely nectivore, possibly poisonous (pattern).
Most likely a nectarivore, so assumed passive (at least to human sized creatures), though hummingbirds are also quite aggressive to animals the same size
Passive, possibly elusive and skittish. Insectivore.
Looks dangerous, bit of a mosquito, possibly poisonous, gotta hide from it
Looks like an active aggressive predator.
passive / herbivore
This creature looks like it will fly away as soon as you get too close to it. Looking at its design it probably eats plants or extracts nectar from flowers. When I saw this I immediatly thought that it would probably live inside of darker areas, such as caves. It looks like it lives in a group, if you find one there's probably more around.
The impression this creature gives to me is a cute nectivore, one that I'd want to pet. As I said before, the creature looks pretty Earth-like to me.
Because of its mosquito-like silhouette I imagine it being a parasite, but probably quite slow-moving because of its size and easy to get away from or swat away.
Passive / herbivore / Een soort groot insect / Iets dat nectar uit plantjes haalt / mooie vleugels
This one looks a lot more dangerous to me. I have a feeling it could be poisonous or venomous, much like a wasp or a mosquito. I do think this creature would be a herbivore, perhaps sucking nectar out of flowers (a hummingbird comes to mind as well) or picking up smaller creatures like mice to carry them off to its lair.
It looks like it could be a bit aggressive, As much as buzzy, but probably herbivore or also critter eating. The shapes make me think of a musquito a bit, but the face and the tongue look more butterfly/anteater
A more docile creature than the previous one. Looks like a mixture between a butterfly, caterpillar and a bee. Gives the impression of drinking nectar from flowers.
Looks Passive to me. The physiology give my the impression of a pollinator.
Conclusions:
Passiveness and skittishness is apparent. "This creature looks like it would be predated on by the previous creature, it appears like a pollinator therefor making it passive."
But "it looks like a mixture between a butterfly, caterpillar and a bee." It's still too much like a mixture of animals.
What impressions does this creature give you? (Does it look passive / aggressive / predator / herbivore etc.)
It looks like a passive carnivore, like a seal or sea turtle.
its a very beautiful alien creature, looks like it is passive but still can easily kill you if you provoke it
it looks like it may be an omnivore but mainly feeds on fish
The alien looks aquatic due to the fins+webbings but I can see it flying around too. It looks kinda passive, but still a predator due to a more slender body for speed.
It seems like a very calm and passive creature that seems like a piscivore or an herbivore that enjoys fruits.
Probably bulky, fairly slow, fairly territorial, and associated with the water, aside from that not much honestly? Design doesnt particularly stand out to me too much aside from "big and slow"
A larger reptilian organism, easily likely seeing any human as an easy meal if predatory. Judging from its lateral fins or sail like structures with that arrangement, maybe a glider or parachute faller within the world’s larger canopies. If not, maybe just an elaborate use for display or intimidation. What’s also interesting is the lack, or even absence, of hindlimbs, suggesting it might have lost the use for them in favor of only the forelimbs. The extensions on the back kinda look like some form of dermal armor.
It feels like a predatory aquatic dragon. I imagine a lifestyle like the whale Leviathan.
predator
This seems like a larg semi-aquatic/amphibious omnivore. It seems like it would be an ecological generalist, not having particularly strong inclinations towards specifically carnivore or herbivory. The animals seems like it would be fairly territorial when approached, though not necessarily outright aggressive to those staying at a distance.
This creature looks like an aggressive predator.
this creature looks like a passive flying predator which only predates aerial prey and only attacks the player when provoked
It seems like a swamp dwelling creature. It doesnt seem overly aggressive. Cant really decide on its ecology.
Looks Predatory to me. Even without visible teeth it could still attack.
A peaceful fish-eater that only attacks when provokes. Differently an aquatic animal, may have bioluminescent organs on the back.
It appears passive, possibly a piscivore, amphibious in nature.
given its streamlined design I would assume its an aquatic animal capable of land movement, though the long arms suggest that it must use them quite a lot in general life activities, possibly for food manipulation or grabbing prey
Possibly aggressive, but only if you approach it too close, looks like it could use its frills to scare away threats. Piscivore predator.
Looks peaceful and calm, eating sea grass
Looks like a usually passive but opportunistic predator, similar to a crocodile or reticulated python.
passive / omnivore
This creature looks quite passive, maybe even friendly. If attacked it would probably run/fly away. The creature looks like it would eat plants and meat (probably fish). This creature could probably be tamed as well.
The impression this creature gives to me is a passive ominvore, one that oozes slime wherever it goes, like a giant snail. The creature looks pretty Earth-like to me.
I imagine this being fast-moving and graceful, potentially aggressive but quick to flee if attacked. I'm not sure if I would picture it as predatory or herbivorous, but I feel like it'd be quite elusive despite its size and might be a good ambush predator.
Predator / Gezicht oogt vriendelijk (doet me denken aan de draak van de moeder uit How To Train Your Dragon 2 / Het zou een draak kunnen zijn, maar ik zie het ook wel als een sea creature
It looks calm, as if its waiting for the player to make the first move. I do not get a sense of danger from the way it's sitting, it almost feels like when a cat is paying attention to your movements. Because it doesn't seem to look at the human as prey, I would think it is a herbivore, or a sea creature that perhaps only eats fish.
It looks aquatic, and rather friendly. I would think of a herbivore, or maybe they eat small critters. But could also be carnivore. I often have a reflex of "I wanna pet it". So that might cloud my judgement haha
Looks a bit like a dragon. Conveys a certain majesty and regality. May be a predator, but does not look overtly 'predatory'.
Docile but well armed herbivore
Conclusions:
Slower predator and greatness is apparent; "Looks like it is passive but still can easily kill you if you provoke it."
But "It seems like a very calm and passive creature." It needs to look more aggressive and scarier, while still having a bit of an elegant design.
What do you think the behaviour / interaction of these 2 creatures is like?
passive / omnivore

Conclusions:
Many of the reactions were pretty close to my concept and idea behind those creatures.
“Mutually beneficial relationship”
“Social in group, shy to strangers”
However it didn't look like they fit together. There needs to be more harmony and rhythm and connections between the creatures.
