By: Guillem G. March
In celebration of All Saint’s Day last month, the Saint Peter 6th grade class was writing a presentation to honor all the saints. Each student was asked to select a saint and impersonate them. Here's what 6th grader Annika Schumann had to say about her saint:
Which saint are you doing and why did you pick that particular saint?
“I picked Saint Margaret of Clitheroe because of her martyrdom.”

“When the Christians were being persecuted.”
What contributions did that saint make to the faith?
“She housed priests that were being persecuted and gave her life for the faith.”
Which virtue would be associated with this saint?

Which miracles did this saint perform?

Can you name another important event in the saint's life?
“When she was on trial, she didn’t plead her case, and she lived up to her faith.”
Where did this saint do most of her work?
“In her house in New York, U.S.A”
When is this saint's feast day?
“March 28.”
How did she die?
“She died by being put on a really sharp rock and being pressed by a door with weights.”
St. Margaret is a patron saint of martyrs, converts, and businessmen/women. St. Margaret of Clitheroe, pray for us.

A Pre-Pageant Interview
With Mrs. Gaudette
By: Olivia F. Blake
Dear readers,
Don’t you enjoy St. Peter School’s annual Christmas pageant? I know I do! This year’s show was a wonderful success! We are so grateful to Mrs. Gaudette, the Pageant director, and our school music teacher. Below is an interview I had with Ms. Gaudette, on the morning of the Pageant.
How many songs are going to be sung at the pageant?
“There are thirteen songs that are going to be sung at the pageant.”
______________________________________
How do you decide which songs are going to be sung at the pageant?
“There are two things I think about. One is I think about the story and two is that I notice what music class needs to learn. For example, the fourth grade is learning recorders.”
______________________________________
What is your favorite song that is sung at the pageant this year?
“I have two favorite songs that are going to be sung. The first song is the Hail Mary song that the seventh-grade class wrote last year, and my second favorite song is Angels We Have Heard on High, which the choir sings.”
______________________________________
Did the previous school(s) you have worked at do a Christmas pageant?
“The previous schools I have worked at have been public schools so they didn’t have Christmas celebrations, but I worked at this school in 2005.”

Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with us, Ms. Gaudette!
