The Graduate Special Education & Friends Research Collaborative is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for graduate students interested in research development for individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to provide mentorship to new graduate students, empower fellow students, and champion the rights and opportunities of individuals with disabilities. We strive to cultivate meaningful dialogue on critical issues in special education, promote diversity and equity within our community, and encourage collaboration that advances research and practice. Through these efforts, we aim to build a connected, informed, and compassionate community committed to creating positive change for all.
