Reflection/Contact

I will never forget this experience! Living with a host family and fully immersing myself in the school community and culture was truly enriching and aided me in my understanding of the city and of those who reside in Catalonia. My mentor teacher was amazing and I was able to teach at least 3 lessons a day and made amazing connections with the students even though I was only there for two weeks. I know there are practices I will be taking back with me when I begin teaching in the Fall, but it was defiently eye-opening to see the differences in education systems and how a different lifestyle and area truly affects how people live their lives and how education systems are designed to adapt to the lifestyles present in the areas they exist in.
