Learning fashion illustrating, brands in the luxury sector of the industry, and creating a final concept collection portfolio from beginning to end. Focus on textiles, collection conceptualization, colors, aesthetics, and merchandising.
Pattern Making (150 hours):
Study on the art of pattern making and the many techniques in regards to fit of women's clothing. Focus on creating patterns for skirts, pants, bodices, sleeves, jackets and shirts.
Tailoring (150 hours):
How to tailor a garment from scratch using luxury tailoring techniques. Focus on cost optimization, learning how to use industry standard machinery, and final assembly of a pencil skirt, a bodice with balloon sleeves, a pair of trouser shorts, a classic button down shirt, and a cropped jacket.
Fashion Graphic Design (50 hours):
Learning to utilize the Adobe Suite platforms to create mood boards, fashion illustrations, technical drawings, merchandising plans, and competitor analysis.
Computer-Aided Desing (CAD) Pattern Making (50 hours):
Study of pattern making using computer softwaring to craft patterns quickly and effectively as well as modification of patterns to create prototypes.
