Grace is 60 years old! We have been sharing God's promise of abundant life since 1965 and we are excited to bear the Good News of Jesus into the future.
Pastor Becca Vargas has been part of Grace since 2019. If you have questions or would like to talk, Pastor Becca would love to meet you for coffee!
Under Amy Kraft's direction, the music ministry enriches our worship life with hymns of praise, liturgy, a choir (Join the choir!) and an array of musical offerings provided by volunteers within the congregation.
The Church Council sets the vision for Grace and tends to matters of business and administration. Each year, the Council is elected by members of the congregation.
We are a congregation of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). Locally, we are part of the ELCA's Metro DC Synod. We believe that God's power to heal and save is accomplished in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. By the work of the Spirit and the free gift of grace, we are liberated to God's reign of faith, service, mercy and love.
Every aspect of ministry at Grace is made possible by the servant-leadership of members and friends- As we invest time, effort and faithful prayer, we grow together in Christian unity and purpose.
One aspect of our shared ministry is our financial generosity, underwriting the work of the church. Every dollar of our $220,000 budget is contributed by Grace members and friends.

Collaboration, participation, creativity, generosity and kindness are normative at Grace; and when we step on each others' toes, we extend to each other the gift of forgiveness. As scripture says, above all virtues, we move within the promise and presence of God's Love.
There is room for you!
