Collegiate Athletics – Jamestown Community College
During my first two years of college, I continued competing while adjusting to increased academic and athletic demands. This period strengthened my time-management skills and reinforced the importance of consistency and accountability. First year at Jamestown, I played basketball. It was very demanding sport on the body and mind, but I never gave you and kept pushing through. although I didn't play much my first year, I got my respect that I earned came back next year and got the playing time I worked for. On top of basketball 2nd year at Jamestown, I played soccer. Playing two sports with back-to-back sessions that interlaps at times is a lot for the mind and body. I would rush from soccer practice to join basketball practice hoping I was able to join the activity. Even if i just watched basketball practice after soccer I tried my best to show up, pay attention and be there for my team. At the end of my Jamestown year, I did earn an award for basketball, for my hard work and dedication. it was a coaches award called Pound the Rock
