She holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the National University of Colombia and a PhD in Exact Sciences – Chemistry Area from the National University of La Plata. She is a Teacher-Researcher at the Institute of Industry (UNGS), working in the Chemical Engineering for Sustainability area and teaching the subjects Chemical Thermodynamics and Introduction to Engineering. She currently collaborates with the Organic Pollutant Chemistry Group (GQCO, ICI) on projects involving the technological applications of porous polyethylene for biofuel production, incorporation of catalytic materials into porous matrices, and the hydrophilization of hydrophobic polymers. Her experience also includes work in nanotechnology, chemical synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, photochemistry, and electrochemistry, among other topics.
