Space Travel to Mars

Monday - Thursday, 9am - 12pm

July 5th - July 27th

Mars is a planet in Space. Even though we can see Mars from Earth, it is very far away and would take an astronaut a very long time to travel there. You are going to be a part of a team of astronauts who are going to take a trip to Mars for 500 days. There is a lot to learn about Mars. Space scientists have now discovered that Mars has dust, rocks, mountains and water. Not only will this trip be exciting, but it is also a very important space mission. You and your team will need to survive so you can come back to Earth and share your experience. It will be important to bring what you will need to survive on Mars. Space scientists will be helping you plan for your visit.

*This pathway will also incorporate a focus on foundational skills in reading and writing.
