Power System/Project Lab
The Power System/Project Laboratory serves as a practical extension of the courses "Switchgear and Protection" and "Project." Specifically tailored for diploma students in their sixth semester, the Switchgear and Protection Lab is currently under development. Furthermore, the Project Lab is accessible to diploma students in both their fifth and sixth semesters. This facility is equipped with a breadboard, allowing students to experiment with their own circuits, as well as AC and DC supply systems for testing project circuits.
Electronics Lab
The Electronics Laboratory supports courses like "Digital Electronics," "Electronics Components and Circuits," and "Power Electronics." For second-year students in their fourth semester, the Digital Electronics Lab provides hands-on experience with digital circuits, covering experiments on logic gates, multiplexers, encoders, and more. This foundation is crucial for computer technology, as modern microcontrollers integrate complex systems onto a single chip.
Electrical Instrumentation Lab
The Electrical Circuits laboratory is designed for diploma students during their 2nd semester (DC Circuits) and 3rd semester (AC Circuits). This laboratory is fully equipped with various experimental setups, including those for verifying Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL), and Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL). Additionally, the lab features instruments such as megger and a range of resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads for conducting R-L-C circuit experiments. It also includes various types of wattmeters, clip-on meters, and a D.C. supply board. Furthermore, the Electrical Instrumentation laboratory is available for diploma students in their 3rd semester, where they engage in fundamental experiments using bridges to measure resistance, inductance, and capacitance.
