The Gujarat Rajya Sangeet Natak Academy, Gandhinagar, in collaboration with Sargam Club, Rajkot, organized a prestigious Shastriya Sangeet Sabha to celebrate and promote Indian classical music. The event featured both eminent artists and promising young talents who had excelled in the Pt. Omkarnath Classical Music Competition.
As a representative from Rajkot, I, Govind Makwana, had the honor of presenting a classical flute recital. I performed compositions based on Raag Yaman and Raag Bhopali, blending melodic depth with rhythmic clarity. The audience responded warmly, and their appreciation was deeply encouraging.
