The Special Operations Division is made of three units, Canine, Special Weapons and Tactics and bomb technicians. This Division is comprised of the specialized units of the Blaine County Sheriff's Office they handle high priority calls and assist Patrol Officers where they are needed on daily operations.

The objective of the Canine Division is to support patrol units and their activities in, but not limited to, the city of Los Santos & Blaine County. Canine reaches this goal by responding to calls for service and proactively patrolling the city & county. Using a vast network of available resources, it is Canine’s goal to track, search, and identify people, narcotics, guns, and explosives.

The Special Weapons & Tactics detail of the Special Operations is primarily responsible for the serving of warrants & apprehension of violent criminals. They will coordinate with EOD & CIU for the efficient serving of warrants & the following investigation. SWAT is also tasked with responding and intervening with any high-risk calls in Blaine County.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit is a specialized unit who handles all Explosives, Drug Labs or hazardous martials calls within Blaine County. They work closely with Special Weapon & Tactics along with San Andreas Fire & Rescue.
