Welcome to the Official Page of the Blaine County Sheriff's Office newly added Department of Corrections team. The Department of Corrections (DOC) is a certification within the department that allows Deputies who meet the requirements to protect and serve in a different way, by being a Corrections Officer. These Officers are responsible for the transportation of suspects from Law Enforcement Stations, to or from the State Courthouse, or other places where the DOC may be needed. Within that, the Department of Corrections is also in charge of the Bolingbroke Penitentiary, where most of suspects are transported to.

The mission of the Blaine County Sheriff's Office Department of Corrections is to protect the individuals of San Andreas brought to our correctional facility in addition to protecting the welfare of our staff and up-keep of our facility.

In order to be eligible to join the Department of Corrections, please view the following criteria established;
- Hold the Rank of, or equivalent to Deputy III
- Possess the Less Lethal Training Certification
- Possess the Field Sobriety Certification
- Posses the Advanced Deputy Certification
