Lost Angeles wiki

You can say that I composed this tune many years ago while living in Los Angeles in the 90's. It's a musical representation — and quiet an accurate one — of a feeling I would get while exploring Los Angeles city centers during the wee hours. And it's a feeling I never forgot, and that I've revisited in this tune.

It's a fully digital composition. I once hesitated to call music made this way a "composition", but it's a composition nonetheless. It's just that the "orchestra" are pads, and instrument sounds on a keyboard. Yet, it still requires that vast arrangement of instruments be played and conducted.

All the sounds in this tune are from the Xpand2 virtual synth. It was recorded in ProTools on a PC.

If you've been a steady fan of mine you know that I write music in many styles. I hope to make more of these ethereal sounding tunes in the near future. Here's another song named Lucid Dream, in the same genre that I've uploaded to youtube under the pseudonym Healtone.

In this song I remember my late night copilots Richard Gallegos, Rosario Juarez, Alex Torres, Tom Rojanapanya, Ruben Romo, Ulysses Noriega, Fabian Sanchez, Karla Saldaña, Lance Frejo, and Marvin Morris.
