GOL Instructor Guidelines
STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES
Lead Instructor. The lead instructor is responsible for leading the Training. Their Objective is to teach a comprehensive and engaging training that teaches skills, knowlange to better GOL
She/He must:
Have clearly defined the objectives and outcomes of the training to all attending.
Teach a training to increase lethality and effectiveness that can be repeated.
Stay on the scope of the training and not deviate from their objectives.
Conduct a debrief of the training and allow for feedback, questions and improvement.
Take attendance of the training before and after
Assistant. The assistant instructor objectives is to help maintain order while the training is in progress, assist the instructor in demonstrations or cover down in case Lead Instructor goes AFK
She/He must:
Have full knowledge of the objectives of the training.
Facilitate, administrate and track training and event attendance, and encourage others sitting random discord channels to attend the training (if it applies)
Watch the lead instructor to make sure the training stays on track
Ensure the training is being delivered in an engaging and interactive way .
Check for knowledge retention after important subjects or long explanations (ask them if what was just covered makes sense)
Assist in ensuring a timely and effective training.
1. Purpose. To establish the standing operating policies and procedures for the development and implementation
2. Policies.
Training Plan which sets forth the training activities to be accomplished during the set training. a comprehensive Training Schedule, and Training Development Plans for GOL overall and Individual Battalions. (Share a Copy with HQ S-3)
Encourages personnel to attend Individual Battalions training from outside those Battalions. Example Mech Inf attending Air Cav specific training.
The training curriculum is developed, evaluated and updated based on the needs of GOL and identifies current related training needs.
3.Responsibilities.
Prepares the training and documents associated with the training, assigns assistant instructors, reviews lesson plans, evaluates training presentation, and provides feedback to S-3 if specific training is needed.
Prepare lesson plans, training aids, and other materials necessary for each class being taught. Ensure the content complies with the latest regulatory and policy guidance and standards, and contains relevant and recent experience discussions.
