To establish the standing operating policies and procedures for the development of GOL
HQ S-3 will be responsible for identifying training needs, arranging training programs, and evaluating training effectiveness.
Battalion Leaders and NCO's are responsible for ensuring that GOL Members attend required training sessions.
GOL Members are responsible for actively participating in training events and sharing this knowledge within their battalions.
HQ S-3 will conduct quarterly training needs assessments to identify the skills and knowledge gaps of GOL Members.
Battalion Leaders and NCO's will provide input on specific training needs to S-3s.
HQ S-3 will arrange training programs based on the training needs assessment.
Training programs may be conducted by HQ S-3 or by most experienced members in GOL in that subject or from External Sources .
HQ S-3 will evaluate the effectiveness of each training program through feedback from GOL Members and Battalion Leaders and NCO's.
Based on the evaluation, HQ S-3 will make improvements to the training programs as needed.
HQ S-3 will keep records of all training programs, attendance, and training evaluations.
This SOP will be reviewed and revised annually to ensure that it remains relevant and up-to-date.
