Kalari is the fourth planet in the Marama system and is the homeworld of the Kalarans. Kalari is a dense M-Class planet with a radius 88% that of Earth and a surface gravity 98% that of Earth. Their orbital period is 820 Earth days. Their rotation is slightly faster than Earth, giving them a day of 22 Earth hours and making their year 900.1 local days. The Kalarans have a leap day every 10th year. Kalari has an axial tilt of 31.1, resulting in seasons that are more extreme than those on Earth. Kalari has one major moon and one minor moon, called Nodar and Wakaw. Kalari has a thick atmosphere. Its huge ice caps cover about 60% of the planet’s surface. There are two continental landmasses, each about the size of Africa, as well as a whole bunch of islands. Both continents’ northern and southern ends are covered by polar ice caps.
