If you have been given the option to record your demo you should have received an email with instructions on how to record and submit your google drive link to your gogokid interviewer. If you prefer to do a live interview instead you are free to schedule your interview and proceed with the live interview.
The recorded demo has many advantages but also some challenges! It allows you to record the demo lesson when it is convenient for you and to re record it until you get the best take. However, you will not be able to use the interactive tools like clicking or circling on the powerpoint lesson so you will need to pretend that you are asking and doing these things throughout the recording.
You will need to send a google drive link of your 10 minute demo video. You should spend up to one minute introducing yourself and your qualifications/experience and use the remaining 9 minutes to teach the demo lesson. I have provided instructions on how to use screencastify to record your demo, however you can use any recording software as long as you can upload the recording to your google drive and provide gogokid with the google drive link. You will want both your camera and the lesson ppt in view on the recording.
