The live interview will last around 30 minutes. You will log into your portal (the same one you applied on) and access the classroom through the link. You should be able to get in at least 30 minutes prior to your interview time. You will want to go in and play around with the classroom tools before the interview. During the interview they will ask you some basic questions about your education and experience with teaching or online teaching. You will then teach the 10 minute demo lesson to the interviewer. The interviewer will be playing the role of a child. They will make mistakes to see if you can correct them or they will act confused to see if you can adapt the lesson to help them understand. They will provide feedback after the lesson and let you know the next steps.
This video will show you what a live interview at gogokid will be like. Since this video was taken the demo lesson has changed! The classroom has also been updated! BUT it will give you a good idea of what you can expect from the interviewer.
