By the end of this module, your child should be able to:
recognize a digit represents 10 times the value of what it represents in it's place to the right
understand the place value chart and placement of commas for naming numbers greater than 1,000
read and write multi-digit numbers in expanded, unit and standard forms
compare numbers based on size <,>, =
find 1. 10 and 100 times more or less than a given number
round multi-digit numbers using a vertical number line
round multi-digit numbers to any place value
use place value understanding to fluently add and subtract multi-digit numbers
solve multi-step word problems involving addition or subtraction using tape diagrams, rounding or equations
