Welcome to "God Hates Snakes"
This site was once on another website but has now been moved here. So much of it has been on the web for a few years now. I just decided this section needed a home of its own.
About me: I was a committed Christian for the first 38 years of my life. I was even involved in leadership and outreaches in my church, but one day I realized, I just didn’t believe it anymore. Now, 20 years on, I consider myself an atheist. Why do I no longer believe? You can see my 100+ reasons below.
This website is dedicated to brief articles I've written, challenging many Christian beliefs.
I challenge all gods and religions but it's Christianity I focus the most on because it's the one I know best and I was indoctrinated into it from birth, a product of at least four generations of indoctrination. My personal story can be found lower down too.
By the way, I'm not Bishop Jake O'Brian. Obviously.
