GREEN NEW DEAL
FOR HOUSING
We testified in support of the Green New Deal for Housing, rallying over 50 classmates to participate in our video submission. Great experience and very impactful, mobilizing our school and our hub specifically for action.
CHALK ART
We have engaged many times in chalk art, using our creative power to send messages about the urgency of climate change. We have done this at school, at Union Station, and more. It has been both fun and successful!
PLANTENTINES
For Valentines Day of 2023, we sold plants in recycled cans to raise money and bring attention to our lack of recycling and all of the beautiful living things that can grow nearly anywhere. It was a hit, and by the end of the day every Plantentine had been sold.
JEWELRY SALE
FOR TRANS HEALTH
In April of 2023, we created and sold handmade jewelry to the students and faculty at our school. Extremely successful, we passed out pamphlets to spread info, and made over $300 - all of which was donated to the Trevor Project.
