Director of Bands

I’m Johnathan Doerr (pronounced “dare”), and I’m incredibly excited to be the Green Mountain High School Director of Bands!

I’ve had a wide range of performing arts experiences including directing a nationally touring drum corps as well as a music educator. My students have earned consistent appearances in state level contests and world championship finals. 

Many of my former students have continued their musical journey at universities and conservatories, and some have gone on to become dedicated music educators themselves.

I believe in the power of the performing arts to inspire, empower, and transform. My goal is to help every student dream big, work hard, and create lifelong memories & friendships! I’m so grateful to be on this journey with you, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us!
